Enjoy our live entertainment while indulging in your favourite Japanese food. We’ve got tantalising yakitori, colourful okonomiyaki and crunchy karaage, as well as a huge range of traditional Japanese dishes. Whatever your tastes, you’re sure to find something to make you say 美味しい!

Been working up a sweat at our Mochitsuki Demonstration? Get hydrated with a selection of Japanese drinks. Please note that as Kodomo no Hi Japan Festival is a family friendly event, no alcohol is available for sale or consumption at the festival.

Itching to satisfy your sweet tooth? We’ve got you covered! You’ll find stallholders offering a range of Japanese sweets including cakes, ice cream, mochi and more. You won’t find anywhere else in Adelaide with all your favourite Japanese sweets in one spot, so why not treat yourself? We won’t tell.

Kodomo no Hi Japan Festival is a community event, and we’re proud to work with the wider multicultural community in Adelaide. In addition to our Japanese food and drinks, you’ll also find a variety of cuisine from our friends in other communities.
We are looking for Food vending stallholders that are friendly, respectful and honest, and can demonstrate the values of JAFA through Kodomo no Hi Japan Festival. We appreciate the ongoing support of many participants over the years and we hope to build a strong and lasting relationship with all stallholders.
